As Cities and Towns Across County Struggle with Water Quality, EPA Delays Clean Water Rule
After the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today delayed the Clean Water Rule for two years, the BlueGreen Alliance released a statement from Executive Director Kim Glas:

WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 31, 2018) – “Delaying this rule puts the drinking water of 117 million Americans at risk. Right now, too many cities are struggling to provide clean, safe water to their residents. This is not the time to roll back protections for water; it should be the time that the federal government leads the way to make sure that having clean, safe water isn’t a luxury for American families.
“Delaying this standard is a huge mistake.”
