The BlueGreen Alliance, a national partnership of labor unions and environmental organizations, today announced the organization has endorsed Dina Titus for the First Congressional District of Nevada.

“Labor unions are the tide that lifts all boats, and Southern Nevadans know better than most that climate change is among the most urgent issues of our time. I am grateful for BlueGreen Alliance’s advocacy and for their support as we work together to pursue investments in a green economy that benefits everyone,” said Rep. Titus.

The endorsement is a recognition of the leadership of Rep. Titus to create good-paying union jobs, fight economic and racial injustice, and reduce the emissions driving climate change. Rep. Titus voted for several key priorities, including the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

“The BlueGreen Alliance is proud to endorse Rep. Titus for Congress,” said BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director Jason Walsh. “Our organization is founded on the belief that we don’t have to choose between good jobs and a clean environment; we can and must have both. Rep. Titus is a champion for building a clean, prosperous, and equitable future and is the best choice in the race for the First Congressional District of Nevada.”

This is the first year that the BlueGreen Alliance is endorsing candidates for Congress. Previously, the organization endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice President of the United States in 2020—the first such endorsement in the organization’s history.
