The United Steelworkers and Aluminum-producer Alcoa sent a letter to members of Congress encouraging them to pass the American Clean Energy and Security Act. The letter states each of the organizations is convinced that climate change is a real and significant environmental threat to our economy and the future of our planet. They are also convinced that we can pass climate change legislation that solves our environmental challenges in a manner that creates and preserves domestic jobs.
