BlueGreen Alliance Endorses Susan Wild
The BlueGreen Alliance, a national partnership of labor unions and environmental organizations, today announced the organization has endorsed Congresswoman Susan Wild for the Seventh Congressional District in Pennsylvania.
The endorsement is a recognition of the leadership of Congresswoman Wild to create good-paying union jobs, fight economic and racial injustice, and reduce the emissions driving climate change. Wild voted for several key priorities, including the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
“The BlueGreen Alliance is proud to endorse Congresswoman Wild for Congress,” said BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director Jason Walsh. “Our organization is founded on the belief that we don’t have to choose between good jobs and a clean environment—we can and must have both. Congresswoman Wild is a champion for building a clean, prosperous, and equitable future and is the best choice in the race for the Seventh Congressional District in Pennsylvania.”
“We are excited to work alongside Congresswoman Wild in this election and beyond,” said Walsh.
This is the first year that the BlueGreen Alliance is endorsing candidates for Congress. Previously, the organization endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice President of the United States in 2020—the first such endorsement in the organization’s history.
