The BlueGreen Alliance, a national partnership of labor unions and environmental organizations, today announced the organization has endorsed Steven Horsford for the Fourth Congressional District in Nevada. 

The endorsement is a recognition of the leadership of Rep. Horsford to create good-paying union jobs, fight economic and racial injustice, and reduce the emissions driving climate change. Rep. Horsford voted for several key priorities, including the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. 

“The BlueGreen Alliance is proud to endorse Rep. Horsford for Congress,” said BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director Jason Walsh. “Our organization is founded on the belief that we don’t have to choose between good jobs and a clean environment; we can and must have both. Steven Horsford is a champion for building a clean, prosperous, and equitable future and is the best choice in the race for the Fourth Congressional District in Nevada.”

“We are excited to work alongside Rep. Horsford in this election and beyond,” said Walsh. 

This is the first year that the BlueGreen Alliance is endorsing candidates for Congress. Previously, the organization endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice President of the United States in 2020—the first such endorsement in the organization’s history.
