BlueGreen Alliance Comments to the BOEM on the Gulf of Maine Environmental Assessment

On behalf of the BlueGreen Alliance (BGA), our partners, and the millions of members and supporters they represent, we thank the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) for the opportunity to comment on the draft environmental assessment (EA) for the Gulf of Maine.
In the following document, we make several recommendations for preparing the final EA. To summarize, we strongly urge BOEM to provide details related to creating high-quality union jobs; training and employment benefits; domestic supply chains; ensuring environmental justice; and environmental protection.
