BlueGreen Alliance Announces Endorsements in 44 Congressional Races
The BlueGreen Alliance, a national partnership of labor unions and environmental organizations, announced today that the organization has endorsed 44 candidates in U.S. House and Senate races across the country. The endorsement is a recognition that the incumbents and challengers are leaders in the efforts to create good-paying union jobs, fight economic and racial injustice, and reduce pollution that harms communities and workers as well as drives climate change.
“The BlueGreen Alliance is proud to endorse these exceptional leaders for Congress,” said BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director Jason Walsh. “Our organization is founded on the belief that we don’t have to choose between good jobs and a clean environment; we can and must have both. BlueGreen Alliance endorsements may not necessarily be representative of our members’ endorsements. This is the first year that the BlueGreen Alliance is endorsing candidates for Congress. Previously, the organization endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice President of the United States in 2020—the first such endorsement in the organization’s history.
