Abby Harvey joined the BlueGreen Alliance in January 2018 and has served in her role as Director of Communications since 2024. Prior to her work with the alliance, Abby worked as a journalist, first in small-town community journalism in Wisconsin, and then covering the energy and environment beat in Washington, D.C.

After reporting on climate change and other environmental issues, Abby became passionate about the area and decided it was time to start actively working to find pragmatic solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues.
