We thank the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) for the opportunity to comment on the creation of an environmental assessment (EA) of offshore wind development in the Gulf of Maine. As BOEM works to develop an EA, we urge the agency to ensure that offshore wind equitably achieves the maximum beneficial impacts by including robust assessment of whether projects meet the standards recommended in this letter.
