The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) today published final rules on the Inflation Reduction Act’s prevailing wage and registered apprenticeship requirements. Meeting these requirements—which apply to Inflation Reduction Act programs, including the Production Tax Credit, Investment Tax Credit, Advanced Energy Project Credit, Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings Deduction, and more—increases tax benefits for qualifying projects.
